Nearly 50 eager depositors prepare to enter Exchange State Bank on Main Street in Brown City. Each first-grade student received a crisp $10 bill from Tri-County Bank to add to the savings accounts opened in their names as kindergartners through the Sanilac County Community Foundation’s Promise Fund program. The interest-bearing accounts can be withdrawn upon graduating high school to help pay for college or trade school.
