Great Starts of Sanilac County invites everyone to a free family event of fall fun on Oct. 13 at 5:30 p.m at the Brown City Fire Hall. There will be scarecrows to make and decorate (one per family) and food. Call Danielle Choate at 648- 2200, Ext. 4109 for more information.

Tickets are on sale now for the Brown City Sacred Heart Hawaiian Dinner Dance that will be held on Nov. 8 at the Brown City Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the Kohler Oil office in Brown City. Call Jeanne Kneebone at 810-689-7606 for more information.

The Brown City Park Board meets on the second Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 4205 Main St. The public is welcome to attend.

Trinity Lutheran Church offers AA meetings every Thursday at 8 p.m. located at 7029 Cade Rd., Brown City.

MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) will meet the second and fourth Friday of each month from 10-11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 7029 Cade Rd. in Brown City.

Marlette Masonic Breakfast/ Brunch every second Sunday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. located across from McDonald’s restaurant on M-53 just south of downtown. Adults $6 and children under 12, $3.

October 23 Brown City Community Food Pantry monthly food distribution at the new location, 8744 Burnside Rd, Kohler Oil and Propane located behind the BC Mini Storage on Burnside Road just west of town from 3:45-5:30 p.m.
