Area hoops’ squads take to Spartan Shootout

Photo by Kylee Richardson IMLAY CITY — The annual summer tournament hit the court on Wednesday and Thursday as several local boys’ basketball teams shook off the rust at the Spartan Shootout. The two-day event is held on three separate courts at Imlay City High, as well as the middle school and consists of both the JV and varsity programs at each school.

The Spartans hosted several teams throughout the two days, including Capac, Marlette, International Academy of Flint, Bendle, Lapeer, Kearsley, Richmond, Davison, Detroit Westside Christian Academy and Corunna.
