BROWN CITY — City Manager Clint Holmes announced last week that the city will receive a $3,000 grant from the Michigan Township Participating Plan, Brown City’s insurer, to help buy new body cams for the police department.

Holmes explained that the total price for four LE-5 Lite body-worn video cameras with capability to store data in the cloud is $3,695. The city will put up the remaining $695.
