Students of the Week



The Brown City Lower Elementary Student of the Week is second grade student Jackson Lonnborg, the son of Jack and Jamie Lonnborg of Brown City. He was nominated by his teacher Sarah Gordon who said, “Jackson is doing a great job in second grade. He works extremely hard every day. He’s a fantastic listener and direction follower too. Jackson is a really kind friend to his classmates and has a great sense of humor. What a model student. Keep up the awesome work.” The Brown City Lower Elementary Student of the Week is second grade student Jackson Lonnborg, the son of Jack and Jamie Lonnborg of Brown City. The Brown City Upper Elementary Student of the Week is fourth-grade student Abbigail Skakle, the daughter of Tim and Jennifer Skakle. Teacher Dawn Kalbfleisch chose Abby because, “She is doing a great job transitioning into fourth grade at Brown City Schools. She gets along well with her peers and she’s doing great academically. She is also leading the class in AR points. Abby is a pleasant addition to our classroom.” The Brown City Upper Elementary Student of the Week is fourth-grade student Abbigail Skakle, the daughter of Tim and Jennifer Skakle. The Brown City High School Student of the Week is eighthgrade student Gavin Dueweke, the son of Dave Dueweke and Jennifer Pingel. Teacher T.J. Schindler chose Gavin because, “He comes to every class with a big smile on his face and a great positive attitude. He is always willing to help in any activity we are doing.
