Proud to be a Pirate

Peck Elementary School 4-6 Student of the Week is Nathan Alfaro. Nathan is the son of Joe and Renee Alfaro. Teacher Merrie Sell chose him because he is a great role model for his peers. She commented, “Nathan does his very best at whatever he attempts. He seeks out help when he needs it, and always strives to do his very best. His manners are impeccable, and his attitude towards school and life is positive. A student who says, ‘Good morning,’ ‘Have a great lunch,’ and ‘Have a good night,’ each and every day to his teacher is truly an outstanding young citizen. Thank You Nathan for being a great student.”

The Peck Elementary School K-3 Student of the Week is second grader Kendra Kosal. She is the daughter of Jeff and Erica Kosal. Teacher Michelle Wood chose her because, “Kendra is an exceptionally honest and helpful student. She treats everyone with respect and sets a good example for others. Kendra has works hard, tries her best at all times, and has really excelled in reading. I love how she throws herself into any story she is reading and feels like she is really there. Keep up the great work Kendra. We are so glad you are a part of our class.”
