Trinity Lutheran Men’s Group is sponsoring a bus trip to Red Wings vs. St. Louis Blues on Monday, Jan. 20. Bus will leave/ return to the Meijer parking lot in Port Huron. Guests may bring their own food/drink and all will be dropped off/picked up at the steps of Joe Louis Arena. Price is $70 which includes bus ride/ticket per person. January 13

Brown City City Council meets on the second and fourth Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 4205 Main St. The public is welcome to attend.

January 14

The American Red Cross will conduct a blood drive at the Brown City Veterans of Foreign Wars hall from 1-6:45 p.m. Sponsored by Trinity Lutheran Church.

Brockway Township officials meet every second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. for their regular township meeting at 7645 Sayles Rd., Yale. The public is welcome to attend. Call 810-387-3375 for more information.

Alcoholics Anonymous support group meets each Tuesday at 7 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Church Parish Hall, 6785 W. Marlette St. in Marlette. Contact Rita at 989-635-7581 for more information.

January 15

Tot Time is a free program for infant to pre-k children and their parent or caregiver. It’s held every Wednesday, 10-11:30 a.m. at Brown City United Methodist Church. Play time, activities, stories and music.

January 16

Trinity Lutheran Church offers seniors social time every Thursday from 1-3 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Church is located at 7029 Cade Rd. in Brown City.

The Brown City Thumb Area Soybean Festival Committee meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Brown City Public Library.

Brown City Library Board meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the library.

Trinity Lutheran Church offers AA meetings every Thursday at 8 p.m. located at 7029 Cade Rd., Brown City.

January 19

Peck Senior Citizens meet for a potluck lunch on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 1:00 p.m. at the Village Senior Hall. All seniors welcome. Call 810-378- 5101 or 810-378-5239 for more information.

January 21

The Brown City Evergreen Cemetery Board will meet at City Hall at 9 a.m.

January 23

The Brown City Community Food Pantry monthly food distribution will be conducted at the Brown City Fire Dept. hall from 3:45-5:30 p.m.

January 24

MOPS (Mothers of Pre- Schoolers) will meet now the second and fourth Friday of each month from 10-11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 7029 Cade Rd in Brown City.

January 25

The Sandusky Thumb Dancers will hold a dance at Maple Valley School from 7-11 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Bring finger foods and friends. Music by Lighthouse Three.
