Brown City Red Hat Society meets the last Tuesday of the month. For more information, contact Myrt at 810-346-2027.

Bingo every Tuesday night at Knights of Columbus, 1405 N. Van Dyke Rd. north of Imlay City. Doors open at 6 p.m. and games start at 7 p.m. (hard card and paper). Kitchen opens at 6 p.m.

Alcoholics Anonymous support group meets each Tuesday at 7 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Church Parish Hall, 6785 W. Marlette St. in Marlette. Contact Rita at 989-635-7581 for more information.

Brown City Public Library is offering a Sit & Knit & Crochet time each Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and share patterns and ideas with others.

Tot Time is a free program for infant to pre-K children and their parent or caregiver. Every Wednesday, 10-11:30 a.m. in the church basement. Play time, activities, stories and music. For more information, contact Brown City United Methodist Church at 810-346-2010.

Brown City Athletic Boosters meet the first Wednesday of each month in the high school library at 7 p.m. All parents welcome.

May 2

The Brown City Planning Commission meets on the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 4205 Main St. The public is welcome to attend.

May 3

Bingo — Every Friday night the Lexington Lions Club hosts an evening of bingo to raise funds for ongoing community project at the Lexington Lions Hall on Huron, downtown Lexington. Play begins at 7 p.m.

May 5

A country breakfast will be served from 8-11: 30 a.m. at St. John’s Parish Hall, S. Sandusky Road in Peck. Cost for adults is $6, $4 for children and kids under age 5 eat for free. Takeouts available.

May 7

The Brown City Fire Authority will meet at the fire hall, 4090 Main St. in Brown City at 8 p.m. This meeting is open to all members of the public under Michigan’s Open Meetings Acts.

May 9

The Brown City Park Board meets on the second Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 4205 Main St. The public is welcome to attend.
