Upcoming Event

Advance sale tickets are now available for the Paradise Garden Tour on June 26 to benefit the Brown City Softball Program. Tickets are $10 each or $12 the day of the tour and are available at Mike's Barber Shop in Brown City or from any softball player.

June 21

The Brown City School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Educational Service Room.

A Fibromyalgia Support Group meets the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at Open Door Missionary Church, 770 Sanilac Rd. in Sandusky. Everyone is welcome at the educational meetings concerning the effect that Fibromyalgia has on one's mental and physical state. Call 810-622- 9528 for more information.

American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at the Brown City Veterans of Foreign Wars hall from 1-6:45 p.m.

ABC Writing to Reading Play Group at Brown City Public Library at 10 a.m. for children ages 0 to 5. Sponsored by Sanilac County Literacy Council and Great Start Parent Coalition. Call 888-580- KIDS to register or for more information.

Brown City Community Food Pantry will hold its monthly food distribution at Brown City Fire Hall from 4-5:30 p.m.

Friends of the Library Book Sale will be held at the Sandusky District Library from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

June 25

Sanilac County Senior Citizens Fair at Sandusky High School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call for a free ride by Sanilac Trans. 800-275-9311. Free admission.

Flynn Township Seniors Potluck will be held at the hall on Shephard Road. Lunch will be at 12:30 p.m. with cards and games after the meal. All seniors welcome.

June 27

Capac High School Reunion for all Alumni. Potluck with social hour beginning at noon. Call Doris at 810-395-7369 for more information.

June 28

Brown City City Council meets on the second and fourth Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 4205 Main St. The public is welcome to attend.
