Wilbur James Hull Jr. Wilbur James Hull Jr. age 85 of Brown City passed away August 24, 2010 at his home, surrounded by family. He was born June 25, 1925 to Wilbur and Sarah (Martin) Hull in Oak Park, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Detroit with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He served his country in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. On March 15, 1960 he married Darlene Jorgenson in Detroit, Michigan. He was employed at the US Army Tank Automotive Command in Warren, MI for more than 30 years until he retired in 1988. He is survived by 5 children Christine (Ron) Marion of Brown City, Wilbur (Beth) Hull of Grand Blanc, Theresa (Ed) Shephard of Yale, Sarah (Steve) Shelton of Lapeer and Susan Ambu of Brown City. 11 grandchildren Sara, Jake and Lauren Marion, Emily, Hunter and Anneliese Hull, Bethany and Andrea Shephard, Samantha Shelton, Allysa and Kylie Ambu. 2 great grandchildren Aaliyah and Payton. Also, survived by a brother Richard (Elizabeth) Hull of Shelby Township and a sister Sally Spinks of Beaverton, Oregon. Wilbur was preceeded in death by his parents, wife Darlene and sister Janet Hinshon, brother Martin Hull and granddaughter Hannah Hull. Funeral services were held Saturday August 28 at the Carman Funeral Home, Brown City. As Wilbur loved children and supported various charities that provided aid to children, memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation. |
